If you manage to assemble this thing at all (it is very flimsy), it does something to the wind. It manages to deflect some of it. So in this respect it gets a single star. However, for me it is unusable because the transparency of this shield is so distorted that if you are in such riding position that you have to look through it, forget it. Also, the two mounting points are so close together that they create a constant obstruction to your vision. For me unusable, on a verge of being not fit for purpose. I took it off after the first ride (I gave it a good few hours). Obviously non returnable after fitting.

Great when it works, but fixing clamps are useless and tried all sorts of things to stop clamps moving

Received this screen extender the other day, it’s a really good quality, and easy to install, I would recommend this.

I had high hopes for this screen extender. Seeing it mounted on a track bike and being ridden around a race track at high speed, I was convinced that the mounting grips would be up to the job.
I torqued the rubber grips as per the instructions onto my existing Puig screen. The screen certainly reduced the buffeting and I was happy until three days into a tour it detached itself on a motorway, smashing into me and then disappearing over my arm. A complete waste of £55. A useless mounting system. Avoid.
