Puig Visor 2.0 Screen Extender

At 6’4” I needed some extra screen height this adjustable visor has made a great difference. Easy to fit with carefully drilling and it looks more part of the original package than a clip on.

Easy to put on, seems like good quality but I noticed a few weeks ago (i.e. a month or 2 after putting it on my screen) that two hairline cracks had developed on each side just above the top of the grooves sections where it can be adjusted up and down. A bit disappointed with that, don't know how/why that would've happened.

I have a Puig screen fitted to my BMW F750GS. This is taller than the OEM screen, however I was still experiencing a lot of buffeting & wind noise around my Crash Helmet. The Puig Detachable Screen Extender has pretty much resolved the issue. Service from Moto Planet has been first class & I can highly recommend them.

Fitted this to a Givi screen on my 2021 Honda nc750x it was very easy to fit with the supplied template. The results have been brilliant on the back roads fully down and kicked forward, on dual carriageway I had it fully up the straight up position worked well with a slight vibration but putting it forward sorted that and no wind on my face but some coming around the screen, above 75mph it stops all the wind and turbulence and puts you in a still bubble. Received within 48 hrs, well packaged. Great quality product, works well. It's worth spending the extra on the Puig extender over the cheaper alternatives . Recently purchased a cheaper unit which arrived damaged and I managed to get a refund. There is no comparison on quality. Well worth spending the extra. Easy to fit and really easy to adjust whilst riding to find the best position and deflects the airflow really well.

Very easy to fit. I'll keep it on for motorway use and take it off at other times. Does the job of deflecting the wind over my helmet.

Excellent service and prices

Very effective in reducing buffeting to my helmet and the associated noise generated. Used in conjunction with a Puig touring screen on an ADV350, but will work and be effective for many bikes with a noisy screen.

Does what it’s meant too

The extender works well in taking off the wind from the top of my screen. Unfortunately I experienced the clamp on one side coming of the screen when I was attempting to adjust it. I had no tools with me but managed with little effort to get the other clamp to slide off too. The problem lies in the design of the clamp in that, although it is 30mm long, only about 10mm clamps to the screen. I would only be able to recommend this product fully if it is supplied with the screw on clamps to ensure a secure mount.

Good piece of kit however the template & instructions do not cater for the screen I had, after asking that question before ordering.
Had to “guess” where the template had to fit & had it a little low which did not produce a great result.
If you have the Puig customer 2 screen be aware…

Slides off, does not fit the bike it says it does. Its meant for a smoothround screen not the angular on eon the bike. fitting as well as possible and it still slides off.

Bought this for my GTR 1400, as the screen was just a touch too low, and the wind was catching the top of my helmet.
I opted for the screw version, as I'm not sure how much I trust a clip on.
Initial impressions were great and it looked like a top quality product. I'm pleased to say that it was exactly that, and came with clear instructions, and a template for drilling the 4 holes in the screen.
I fitted it in around 30 mins and it feels sturdy.
There is plenty of adjustment in both height and angle, and it works well, giving that little bit of extra deflection, to cut down on wind noise.

This is the usual top quality Puig product. Well made and thought out but it unfortunately is not suitable for my Honda NC750 with the touring screen fitted as it won't
go far enough down to allow unrestricted vision over the top .

This screen works really well, reducing wind noise and buffeting. However, the kit arrived short of one part, a screw left out by the manufacturer. I have to praise the Moto Planet Customer Service who were prompt in answering my email query and finding a solution. I would buy from them again.

Cannot recommend more highly. I ordered a Puig visor and the manufacture had put the wrong fittings in the box, a phone call to Moto Planet in the afternoon and a replacement arrived the next day. Friendly and prompt communication and problem (not of their making) sorted very quickly. I will use again.

This Extender has helped reduce the wind I still need to adjust it doing that is very fiddly as you need a sort screw driver and an alan key.

Added to an existing windscreen mounted on BMW f800r. It does a brilliant job fending the air away from helmet.

Solid product that was easy to fit.
Height adjustable without tools.
It is not optically correct, so don't use if you expect to be looking through it as it distorts the view. I'm looking over it so that is not an issue.
It has reduced the wind noise in my helmet and the pressure on my neck.
