SHAD E-48 Semi Rigid Panniers - 29 Litres

SHAD’s E48 motorcycle panniers feature an expandability function to increase their capacity and act as the ideal alternative to hard panniers.

The E48’s design process placed a focus on both functionality and aesthetics. Their semi-rigid nature ensures their shape is maintained when the cases are empty and the adjustable straps allow you to expand the capacity of each case up to 58 litres.

If those incentives were not enough, the E48 panniers’ additional features add an element of rider convenience. This is achieved through the inclusion of padded handles for comfort when transporting the cases and glove-friendly zips to support the ease of use.

Both of SHAD’s SE and SR pannier racks slot into the back of the E48 panniers for a fast and secure fit.

To fit this on your motorcycle, you also need a SHAD fitting kit.

Pannier Fitting

No way the pannier rails on the CBR500 will fit into the side pocket on the panniers. Completely the wrong shape. Cannot see the relevence of the pocket on the pannier.

Maybe Need to be Re-designed

The main fixing point of the Pannier to the frame is rather iffy. Velcro is fine but a bigger area of actual grip is needed and the pocket for the metal support is far too small. I think a test on a bumpy road would soon demonstrate a problem here.
