SHAD TR40 Terra Adventure Panniers - 32 Litres
SHAD’s TR40 terra motorcycle panniers are the ideal alternative to the heavier adventure bags, maintaining the practicality without the bulky structure.
The waterproof, impact-resistant TR40 panniers boast a capacity of 32 litres with the added bonus of eight tiedown points, allowing you to carry cargo beyond the limits of the bag’s volume. Despite the added weight that comes with additional storage, the tiedown points are no less secure thanks to the TR40’s adjustable buckles.
These terra panniers mount to SHAD’s 4P system for a durable, sturdy fit. The 4P rack ensures your items are safe thanks to its four mounting points for a secure attachment that is supported by the addition of a 20mm steel frame with a reinforced crossbar.
Another highlight of these adventure bags is the incorporation of SHAD’s double locking system. This allows the panniers to be locked directly to the 4P rack to increase security and prevent access to the internal compartments.

The SHAD TR40 panniers have been brilliant on our ride from Australia to Wales. They've handled rain, dust, and rough trails without a hitch, keeping our gear bone dry, even through torrential downpours in Indonesia. The 4P racks made loading easy, though unlocking the outer straps each time was a bit of a faff.
What really impressed me was how they held up after a few drops on sandy and muddy trails, with no damage at all, unlike the dents you'd get with aluminium panniers. I'd love a bit more expansion options, but overall, they've been tough, reliable, and well worth it.

Some instructions would be useful.. I still haven't managed to get them on the luggage rail, guess it'll be a search on youtube!

Not massively expensive, yet very good quality. I’ve always had hard luggage in the past, so thought I have a change, these soft luggage panniers are great and I can get more in than I could in the same literage hard luggage 🤷♂️ and they don’t take up as much room storing then. Well worth it.
