Great bit of kit, great quality

Well packaged panniers, came with waterproof inner bags and are fully lockable, with the 2 keys provided. Not used them yet but they are easy to fit and lock. now ready for a nice but of touring.

The SHAD TR40 panniers have been brilliant on our ride from Australia to Wales. They've handled rain, dust, and rough trails without a hitch, keeping our gear bone dry, even through torrential downpours in Indonesia. The 4P racks made loading easy, though unlocking the outer straps each time was a bit of a faff.

What really impressed me was how they held up after a few drops on sandy and muddy trails, with no damage at all, unlike the dents you'd get with aluminium panniers. I'd love a bit more expansion options, but overall, they've been tough, reliable, and well worth it.

For an older model bike the shad 3p rack was my only option I’m pleased to say the tr40 luggage works fine with this rack.
The luggage is very well made with plenty of space. It comes with dry bags. The locking mechanism is great once you have got used to it and had a play.
Most importantly they look mint on the bike

Some instructions would be useful.. I still haven't managed to get them on the luggage rail, guess it'll be a search on youtube!

Not massively expensive, yet very good quality. I’ve always had hard luggage in the past, so thought I have a change, these soft luggage panniers are great and I can get more in than I could in the same literage hard luggage 🤷‍♂️ and they don’t take up as much room storing then. Well worth it.

Chose shad tr40 soft panniers and racks for my 2023 ktm 790 adventure , great fit easy install, quality is superb perfect size for a two up week trip, would definitely recommend. Also excellent service and speedy delivery.

Really happy with the bags, top quality with great locking mechanism, which lock both the bag and to the pannier. Pannier rack are equally good quality and easy to fit.

Massive storage space for all my gear, no more struggling to fit everything in

I have been using the tr40 panniers for my motorcycle adventures and I must say, they are absolutely fantastic! These panniers strike the perfect balance between being lightweight and heavy-duty, making them ideal for riders like me who prefer practical, hard-wearing adventure luggage without the bulk of hard panniers.

Overall these are great quality and ideal size. However you can only have the bag clips closed in the locked position, using the key. It would be great if the locking mechanism was designed in a way that allowed the bags to be locked to the frames, but then also allow for the bags to be clipped closed without using the key to lock and unlock. If I'm on a tour then the bags would ordinarily be locked for the ride each day. But for daily commute use, I really just want to be able to open and close the bag without the need to get the key and lock/unlock the bag each time.

One of the standout features of these panniers is their fully waterproof design. No matter how extreme the weather conditions get, I can trust that my belongings will stay dry and protected inside.
