SHAD’S TR48 motorcycle top box is a durable aluminium case that boasts the ability to store a full face helmet whilst improving aerodynamics.

The TR48 top box offers a lighter alternative to its bulkier counterparts on the market whilst maintaining a robust, waterproof structure. The rounded corners limit the effect carrying extra luggage can have on your motorbike’s aerodynamics whilst optimising internal space for a 48 litre capacity that is further expanded by external tiedown hooks.

Good sturdy plate to mount top case plate to. Easy to fit, and makes together with top plate easy fit/removal of top case

Very robust top box including the fitting kit and plates. A little fiddly to access the mounting bolts from the mounting plate to the fitting kit.

Shad Top box

I have just fitted this to my Triumph Tiger 900 GT PRO. It looks a quality piece of kit, though I haven’t used it in anger yet. The instructions were clear, and easy to follow. The hardest part was changing the lock cylinder over, but there is a video on Shads’ you tube channel showing you how to do it. I had to wait a month because the mounting bracket was on back order, but it arrived on the date they said it would. They even included a part I had forgotten to order, and included it for free. You can’t ask for better service than that.
