Puig Touring I Screen for Kawasaki Vulcan 650 S (15-25)

An excellent product, easy to fit and adjust
All the metal work came ready assembled and like the screen very well designed. I have ridden about sixty miles since fitting and it works brilliantly, keeping the wind blast and noise to minimum. Value for money and quality of service from moto planet is excellent This is a universal fitting item so I don’t understand why to the planet say it is for a Kawasaki Vulcan 650. That doesn’t make any sense the screens appear to be the same for any Bike.

Brought for my speedmaster. Great quality, easy to fit but a bit flappy at the very bottom beside the headlight. Have adjusted it a couple of times, I doubt I’ve eliminated it but hopefully reduced it.

The Puig screen arrived very well packed and easy to assemble with two Allen keys( not supplied). Fitting the assembled screen to the bike is straightforward enough with minor adjustments when sat on the bike and off the side stand. Test ride on the road provided the wind deflection my wife )whose bike it is ) was looking for. Production quality was as expected from Puig.

It flops around badly on my 1998 CB500. Needs additional lower securing struts, as seen on a Givi brand screen on a 2005 CBF500.

The screen is large and effectively eliminates the force of the wind at high speeds. Unfortunately I found it very loud, having to adjust it position many times before it even approached being tolerable. Also fastenings have to be checked regularly to make sure they aren't loose, but it does warn of that in the instructions.
