Smaller than expected

Ive now had the puig touring screen fitted and done a few miles on my bike, I actually thought the screen would be taller, the buffering even at low speeds is terrible, I'm now wondering if I actually got the right one sent, as the stock screen isn't much smaller. Nothing wrong with the quality, but I've now ordered a wind deflector to see if that resolves the problem.
